Key Responsibilities

Source screen and recruit candidates for diverse manufacturing roles (e.g. production skilled trades engineering).
Partner with manufacturing hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Conduct in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate technical skills safety aptitude and cultural fit for plant environments.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting and sourcing to offer negotiation and pre-employment checks.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified talent for current and future manufacturing needs.
Utilize and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for efficient candidate management and reporting.
Advise hiring managers on market trends compensation benchmarks and best practices in manufacturing recruitment.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience recruiting for diverse roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment (e.g. engineering production skilled trades operations).
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes terminology and typical organizational structures.
Demonstrated ability to source and attract passive candidates for specialized and technical manufacturing positions.
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and modern recruitment technologies.
Excellent interviewing and candidate assessment skills with an emphasis on evaluating technical competencies and cultural fit.

Bonus Qualifications

Bilingual proficiency (e.g. Spanish)
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
Experience recruiting for skilled trades or high-volume production roles
Professional HR certification (e.g. PHR SHRM-CP)
