Key Responsibilities

Source screen and recruit qualified candidates for diverse manufacturing roles including production engineering and skilled trades.
Partner with manufacturing hiring managers to define job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate skills experience and cultural fit for manufacturing environments.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial requisition to offer negotiation and pre-onboarding.
Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for current and future manufacturing staffing needs.
Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to streamline processes and track metrics.
Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant employment laws and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a significant portion in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Proven ability to source screen and recruit for a diverse range of manufacturing roles (e.g. production engineering skilled trades management).
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing tools (e.g. LinkedIn Recruiter job boards).
Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills focused on identifying technical aptitude and cultural fit within manufacturing operations.
Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills to build rapport with candidates and collaborate with hiring managers.
Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of requisitions and adapt to the fast-paced demands of a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience recruiting for specific manufacturing sectors (e.g. automotive aerospace food & beverage).
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes engineering disciplines or skilled trades.
Familiarity with unionized workforces and collective bargaining agreements.
Prior experience working within a manufacturing plant or production environment.
Awareness of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
