Key Responsibilities
- Source and attract qualified candidates for various manufacturing roles including engineers production operators and skilled trades.
- Conduct thorough interviews to assess technical skills experience and cultural fit for plant environments.
- Partner closely with manufacturing hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial application to offer negotiation and pre-onboarding.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to manage candidate pipelines efficiently.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of passive candidates for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and employment laws.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience recruiting for manufacturing industrial or skilled trades roles.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes terminology and typical job functions (e.g. production engineering quality maintenance).
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to attract and screen candidates for both high-volume and specialized positions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on candidate experience and hiring manager partnership.
Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with common manufacturing processes roles and terminology.
- Experience with high-volume or skilled trades recruitment.
- Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
