The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Source and attract qualified candidates for various manufacturing roles including engineers production operators and skilled trades.
Conduct thorough interviews to assess technical skills experience and cultural fit for plant environments.
Partner closely with manufacturing hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial application to offer negotiation and pre-onboarding.
Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to manage candidate pipelines efficiently.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of passive candidates for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and employment laws.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience recruiting for manufacturing industrial or skilled trades roles.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes terminology and typical job functions (e.g. production engineering quality maintenance).
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing platforms.
Demonstrated ability to attract and screen candidates for both high-volume and specialized positions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on candidate experience and hiring manager partnership.

Bonus Qualifications

Familiarity with common manufacturing processes roles and terminology.
Experience with high-volume or skilled trades recruitment.
Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
Proficiency in a second language relevant to the local workforce.
