Key Responsibilities

Conduct incoming in-process and final product inspections according to specifications.
Utilize precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges) to verify product dimensions.
Document inspection results non-conformances and corrective actions in quality records.
Identify and segregate non-conforming materials initiating appropriate containment procedures.
Assist in root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for quality issues.
Interpret engineering drawings blueprints and quality standards to ensure product compliance.
Perform calibration and maintenance of inspection and test equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (calipers micrometers gauges).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and specifications (GD&T knowledge preferred).
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and quality control methodologies.
Experience performing inspections identifying non-conformances and documenting results.
Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data collection.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with CMM operation or programming.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement training.
Proficiency with statistical software (e.g. Minitab JMP) for data analysis.
Internal auditing experience (e.g. ISO 9001 AS9100).
