Salary Range: $40000 - $63000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed inspections of incoming in-process and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Conduct various quality tests including dimensional functional and visual inspections using appropriate measuring equipment.
Document inspection and test results accurately maintaining comprehensive quality records and reports.
Identify and document non-conforming materials or products initiating corrective actions as required.
Assist in the investigation of root causes for quality defects and implement effective preventative measures.
Support the calibration and maintenance of inspection measuring and test equipment (IM&TE).
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or inspection role.
Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (e.g. calipers micrometers gauges) and interpreting engineering blueprints.
Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality data collection methods.
Ability to identify non-conforming product document findings and support root cause analysis.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification
Experience with CMM programming or advanced metrology equipment
Internal Auditor certification (e.g. ISO 9001 AS9100)
Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP)
