Key Responsibilities

• Perform precise calibration and verification of measurement tools and equipment.
• Conduct dimensional inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies using various metrology instruments.
• Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other automated measurement systems.
• Interpret engineering drawings GD&T specifications and quality standards to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Document and maintain detailed records of calibration activities inspection results and equipment maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with measurement equipment and processes implementing corrective actions.
• Support production and engineering teams by providing measurement data and metrology expertise.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Metrology Quality or a related technical field or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers micrometers gauges and CMMs
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with calibration procedures and maintaining measurement equipment
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and data analysis software

Bonus Qualifications

• CMM or Vision System programming experience
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD)
• Experience utilizing statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP)
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or similar continuous improvement training
• Experience in the design or fabrication of measurement fixtures
