We are partnering with organizations in Newaygo that are seeking Mechanics. Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems to identify root causes of failures.
Execute timely repairs and replacements of faulty components parts and production line systems.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal performance and identify potential equipment malfunctions.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities repairs and parts used.
Adhere strictly to all safety protocols lockout/tagout procedures and company policies.
Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery and equipment.
Strong understanding of mechanical hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems.
Proficiency in using various hand tools power tools and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals blueprints and schematics.
Demonstrated knowledge of safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex equipment failures.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with PLC troubleshooting and minor programming adjustments.
Proficiency in welding (MIG TIG Stick) and basic fabrication.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
Certification in hydraulics or pneumatics.
