Key Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues breakdowns and malfunctions.
Execute timely repairs and replacements of faulty components to minimize downtime.
Install calibrate and commission new production machinery and equipment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean organized work environment.
Document maintenance activities repairs and parts usage accurately.
Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in diagnosing repairing and maintaining industrial production machinery.
3-5 years of experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong understanding of hydraulic pneumatic and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Commitment to safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming.
Welding and fabrication skills (e.g. MIG TIG).
Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
