The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Develop evaluate and improve manufacturing methods and processes.
Design test and implement manufacturing tools fixtures and equipment.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by defining manufacturing processes and ensuring manufacturability.
Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions process flows and BOMs.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D Quality and Production to resolve issues and achieve production goals.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field.
3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment focusing on process optimization and efficiency improvements.
Demonstrated experience with Lean Manufacturing principles Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Proficiency with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) for designing manufacturing tools fixtures or layouts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
Familiarity with automation robotics and PLC systems in a production setting.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Experience with robotics automation or advanced manufacturing technologies
Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g. Minitab JMP) for process optimization
PMP certification or demonstrated experience leading complex manufacturing projects
