Key Responsibilities

Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency cost reduction and quality improvement.
Design develop and implement manufacturing tools fixtures and equipment.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
Support the successful transition of new products from design to full-scale manufacturing.
Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation including work instructions and process flows.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of products.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Mechanical Industrial or a related engineering discipline
Proven experience in process optimization lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
Proficiency with CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks AutoCAD) and manufacturing simulation tools
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes tooling design and production equipment
Experience with data analysis statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Experience with advanced manufacturing simulation software (e.g. Arena FlexSim)
Proficiency in a programming language (e.g. Python VBA) for data analysis or automation scripting
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or proven experience leading complex manufacturing projects
