Key Responsibilities

Ensure the high availability and reliability of critical IT and OT systems supporting manufacturing operations.
Manage and maintain the plant's network infrastructure including wired and wireless connectivity for production machinery and business users.
Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect intellectual property production data and operational technology (OT) environments.
Oversee the implementation support and maintenance of manufacturing-specific software (e.g. MES ERP modules SCADA) and hardware.
Lead IT strategic planning budgeting and project management to align technology initiatives with manufacturing business objectives.
Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT systems to minimize production downtime.
Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on IT systems and applications.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience managing IT operations and infrastructure within a manufacturing environment.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing systems such as ERP (e.g. SAP Oracle) MES SCADA and PLM.
Strong understanding of operational technology (OT) and IT/OT convergence including industrial cybersecurity.
Demonstrated ability to lead IT projects focused on improving production efficiency and quality.
Experience developing and implementing IT strategies aligned with manufacturing business objectives.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or common manufacturing ERP platforms (e.g. SAP Oracle Infor).
Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts industrial IoT or automation technologies.
Experience with data analytics for production optimization or quality control.
