Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain critical IT/OT infrastructure to ensure continuous production operations and minimize downtime.
Oversee cybersecurity measures to protect proprietary manufacturing data intellectual property and operational technology (OT) systems.
Lead the implementation integration and optimization of manufacturing-specific systems such as ERP MES and automation software.
Provide comprehensive technical support and strategic guidance to factory floor personnel and administrative staff.
Develop and manage the IT budget ensuring cost-effective technology solutions align with manufacturing goals and efficiency targets.
Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) support production uptime and performance.
Ensure data integrity and availability for production reporting operational analytics and quality control processes.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience leading IT operations and strategy within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing-specific IT systems including ERP (e.g. SAP Oracle) MES and SCADA/OT environments.
Strong background in IT project management particularly for system implementations and upgrades in production settings.
Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity principles and practices applicable to industrial control systems (ICS) and manufacturing networks.
Ability to effectively manage IT budgets vendor relationships and lead a diverse technical team.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with SCADA MES or other industrial control systems.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0 concepts and IoT implementation in a production environment.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience in IT/OT convergence and industrial cybersecurity.
