Key Responsibilities
- Install maintain and repair industrial electrical systems equipment and components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in manufacturing machinery and control systems.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical infrastructure to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals for installation and repair.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations local codes (e.g. NEC) and company standards.
- Calibrate test and adjust electrical instruments and control devices.
- Document all maintenance repair and installation activities accurately.
Recommended Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification/apprenticeship completion.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in troubleshooting repairing and installing PLC-controlled equipment and systems.
- Strong understanding of motor control circuits variable frequency drives (VFDs) and power distribution systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and adherence to electrical safety standards (e.g. LOTO).
Bonus Qualifications
- Robotics troubleshooting and programming experience
- Advanced proficiency with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC programming and HMI development
- Experience with instrumentation calibration maintenance and control loop tuning
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work order management and historical data
