The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Jenison seeking Industrial Electricians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

Install maintain and repair electrical systems machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics multimeters and other testing equipment to diagnose faults.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components control systems and power distribution systems.
Diagnose and repair faults in motors wiring transformers generators and control panels.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints schematics and ladder logic diagrams.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes safety regulations and company policies during all work.
Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) for system setup and troubleshooting.

Recommended Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial control systems (PLCs HMIs VFDs).
Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals.
Experience with three-phase power motor controls and industrial machinery wiring.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with industrial robotics troubleshooting and maintenance (e.g. FANUC ABB KUKA).
Proficiency in troubleshooting industrial networking protocols (e.g. EtherNet/IP Profinet Modbus TCP/IP).
Experience utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work orders and preventative maintenance.
Advanced instrumentation calibration and troubleshooting skills (e.g. flow pressure temperature transmitters).
