Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot diagnose and repair electrical systems machinery and components in a manufacturing environment.
- Install maintain and inspect electrical control systems wiring and power distribution equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on industrial electrical machinery to minimize downtime.
- Interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals for installation and repair.
- Adhere to all safety regulations electrical codes and company policies including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Calibrate and test electrical equipment and instrumentation using various diagnostic tools.
- Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and other automation systems.
Recommended Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
- Proven experience troubleshooting repairing and maintaining industrial electrical systems (480V 3-phase).
- Proficiency with PLCs HMIs VFDs and industrial control circuits.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals.
- Experience with motor controls sensors and instrumentation.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with PLC programming and advanced troubleshooting (e.g. Rockwell Siemens).
- Familiarity with robotics electrical systems installation or troubleshooting.
- Certification or advanced training in thermography vibration analysis or other predictive maintenance techniques.
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA system configuration and support.
