The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical systems and equipment.
Troubleshoot diagnose and repair complex electrical faults in manufacturing machinery and controls.
Install calibrate and maintain electrical components wiring and control panels.
Interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals for system modifications and repairs.
Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) motors and sensors.
Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards national electrical codes and company policies.
Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies.

Recommended Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent industrial electrical certification.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems (up to 480V).
Proficiency in PLC programming diagnostics and ladder logic (e.g. Allen-Bradley Siemens).
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical manuals.
Experience with motor controls variable frequency drives (VFDs) and servo systems.
Strong adherence to safety protocols including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

Advanced PLC programming and troubleshooting skills.
Robotics maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Experience with Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) programming and optimization.
