Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment and staffing for production technical and administrative roles.
  • Oversee employee relations conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Develop and implement training programs including safety technical skills and leadership.
  • Administer compensation benefits and workers' compensation programs.
  • Drive performance management processes and support workforce planning initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in HR management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws HR best practices and safety regulations (e.g. OSHA) relevant to manufacturing operations.
  • Proven ability to manage employee relations including conflict resolution performance management and grievance handling for a diverse workforce.
  • Experience with talent acquisition development and retention strategies for both production and administrative roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing HR policies and programs that support operational efficiency and a positive work culture.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with union relations or collective bargaining agreements.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Certification in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or OSHA compliance.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms tailored for manufacturing environments (e.g. complex shift scheduling time clock integrations).
