We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Fremont that are seeking skilled HR Generalists. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for production technical and administrative roles ensuring a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues including performance management disciplinary actions and conflict resolution on the shop floor.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal state and local labor laws as well as company policies and safety regulations relevant to a manufacturing environment.
  • Administer and oversee comprehensive onboarding programs including mandatory safety training and facility tours for new hires.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives related to training talent development and succession planning for manufacturing operations.
  • Process payroll data administer benefits programs and manage HRIS records for all plant employees.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proficient knowledge of federal and state employment laws (e.g. FMLA ADA FLSA OSHA).
  • Demonstrated ability in employee relations conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruitment for a diverse workforce including production and skilled trades.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS systems payroll processes and benefits administration.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with HR in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing operations such as lean principles or production scheduling.
  • Proficiency in a second language (e.g. Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
  • Certification or advanced experience in OSHA compliance or workplace safety programs.
