Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing skilled trades and operational roles.
- Provide comprehensive employee relations support including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Ensure strict compliance with labor laws company policies and safety regulations specific to a manufacturing environment.
- Administer performance management processes and support employee development initiatives.
- Oversee new hire onboarding orientation and conduct exit procedures.
- Maintain accurate HR records and manage the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Facilitate HR-related training sessions particularly for safety compliance and skills development.
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state labor laws including OSHA regulations and EEO compliance.
- Proven ability to manage employee relations conduct investigations and implement performance management processes for a diverse workforce.
- Experience recruiting for a range of manufacturing positions from production staff to skilled trades and supervisory roles.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and payroll processing in a high-volume hourly employee environment.
Bonus Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish)
- Experience with OSHA compliance and safety program management
- Experience supporting a unionized workforce or with labor relations
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
