The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Wayland seeking Financial Analysts who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting forecasting and long-range planning.
Conduct detailed cost analysis of manufacturing operations including COGS labor and overhead variances.
Prepare comprehensive financial reports and dashboards for management highlighting key performance indicators.
Analyze capital expenditure requests performing ROI and payback period assessments for new equipment or projects.
Perform profitability analysis by product line customer segment or manufacturing plant to identify trends and opportunities.
Monitor and analyze inventory levels and valuation identifying potential obsolescence or efficiency improvements.
Collaborate with operations teams to identify cost reduction opportunities and efficiency gains in production processes.

Recommended Qualifications

Strong financial modeling forecasting and variance analysis skills.
Proficiency in cost accounting principles and their application in manufacturing.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics) for financial and operational data.
Ability to analyze manufacturing KPIs production costs and supply chain impacts.
Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Infor).
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation methods.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for operational reporting.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
