Key Responsibilities

Lead mentor and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
Oversee the planning execution and successful completion of engineering projects from concept to production.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes efficiency and product quality.
Collaborate cross-functionally with production quality and R&D to ensure manufacturability and resolve technical issues.
Manage departmental budget resources and capital expenditure for new equipment and technologies.
Develop and implement long-term engineering strategies aligned with production goals and company objectives.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations quality standards and industry best practices in all engineering activities.

Recommended Qualifications

Proven experience leading and developing engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.
Strong technical background in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. mechanical electrical industrial) with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.
Demonstrated ability to implement Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in project management including planning execution and delivery of complex engineering initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software
Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies such as robotics automation or additive manufacturing
