Key Responsibilities

Lead mentor and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
Oversee the planning execution and successful completion of engineering projects ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes reduce costs and enhance product quality.
Collaborate cross-functionally with production quality and R&D teams to resolve technical issues and facilitate new product introductions.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations quality standards and environmental policies within engineering activities.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical Electrical Industrial) and 8 years of progressive engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience leading mentoring and developing high-performing engineering teams fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
Deep understanding of manufacturing processes automation Lean principles Six Sigma and quality management systems.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex engineering projects from conception to completion driving process improvements and operational efficiency.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes implement effective solutions and align engineering strategies with business objectives.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g. Industry 4.0 IoT AI/ML in production).
Proficiency with ERP (e.g. SAP Oracle) or PLM systems.
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
