Key Responsibilities

Lead mentor and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
Oversee and manage engineering projects focused on process optimization automation and new product introduction.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency reduce costs and improve product quality.
Provide expert technical guidance and problem-solving support for complex production challenges.
Develop and manage the engineering department budget and allocate resources effectively.
Collaborate with production quality and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety regulations industry standards and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical Electrical Industrial) with 7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing environments.
Proven leadership experience including direct management and mentorship of engineering teams.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes quality systems and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage complex engineering projects from conception to completion including scope budget and timeline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of implementing innovative and effective engineering solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Experience with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g. IoT AI/ML in manufacturing digital twins).
Prior experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system implementation or administration.
