Salary Range: $86000 - $131000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all federal state and local EHS regulations and company policies.
• Develop implement and manage EHS programs policies and procedures across the manufacturing site.
• Conduct regular EHS risk assessments inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Lead incident investigations root cause analysis and the implementation of preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs to employees at all levels.
• Manage hazardous waste programs and ensure proper handling storage and disposal of materials.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics prepare reports and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety Environmental Science Engineering or a related field.
• 5-7 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment including at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA EPA and other relevant federal state and local EHS regulations and standards.
• Proven ability to develop implement and manage EHS programs policies and management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001).
• Professional EHS certifications such as CSP CIH CHMM or similar.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation.
• Experience integrating EHS principles into Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives.
• Master's degree in Environmental Health & Safety Industrial Hygiene or a related engineering field.
• Proven experience with sustainability initiatives or ESG reporting frameworks.
