Salary Range: $82000 - $127000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop implement and maintain EHS policies procedures and programs.
• Ensure compliance with all federal state and local EHS regulations (e.g. OSHA EPA).
• Conduct EHS risk assessments incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Manage and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for all employees.
• Oversee environmental programs including waste management air emissions and water quality.
• Lead the development and implementation of emergency response plans and drills.
• Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance through regular audits and inspections.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety Environmental Science Engineering or a closely related field.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM)).
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA EPA and other federal state and local EHS regulations applicable to manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated experience in developing implementing and managing EHS management systems (e.g. ISO 14001 ISO 45001).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience implementing lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies for EHS process optimization.
• Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 14001 or ISO 45001.
• Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g. Gensuite Intelex).
• Project management certification (e.g. PMP) or extensive experience leading large-scale EHS initiatives.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills particularly Spanish to support a diverse workforce.
