Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs for raw materials labor and overhead.
• Analyze manufacturing variances (material labor overhead) and report on root causes.
• Prepare detailed cost reports profitability analysis and COGS analysis for management.
• Conduct inventory valuation reconciliation and participate in physical inventory counts.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process specifically for production costs.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.
• Perform month-end close activities related to inventory and cost of goods sold.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of dedicated cost accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of standard costing variance analysis and inventory valuation.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills for cost analysis reporting and process improvement recommendations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific manufacturing ERP modules (e.g. SAP CO Oracle EBS Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
• Advanced Excel modeling skills including VBA.
