Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and program PLC/HMI solutions for automated manufacturing equipment.
• Implement test and commission new control systems and machinery on the plant floor.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for production issues related to automation and controls.
• Optimize existing control systems for improved efficiency reliability and throughput.
• Develop and maintain detailed electrical schematics software documentation and control system specifications.
• Ensure all control systems comply with industry safety standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production maintenance mechanical) on project execution and problem-solving.

Recommended Qualifications

• Deep proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Allen-Bradley Logix platforms Siemens TIA Portal) and associated programming languages.
• Proven experience in HMI/SCADA development and deployment (e.g. FactoryTalk View Wonderware Ignition).
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet Modbus TCP/IP) and network architecture.
• Ability to read interpret and create electrical schematics (e.g. AutoCAD Electrical) and perform advanced electrical troubleshooting.
• Experience with industrial motion control systems (servo drives VFDs) and/or robotics programming (e.g. Fanuc Kuka ABB).
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and experience implementing safety-related control systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics (e.g. Fanuc Kuka ABB Universal Robots).
• Proficiency in SCADA/MES integration and data historian solutions.
• Familiarity with industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
• Basic understanding of industrial network design and OT cybersecurity principles.
