Key Responsibilities

• Design program and implement PLC and HMI systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation and control system failures.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics wiring diagrams and control documentation.
• Support the installation commissioning and validation of new machinery and processes.
• Optimize existing control systems for improved efficiency reliability and safety.
• Collaborate with production maintenance and engineering teams on automation projects.
• Ensure all control systems comply with industry standards and safety regulations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive experience with PLC programming and configuration (e.g. Rockwell/Allen-Bradley Siemens).
• Proficiency in HMI/SCADA system design development and integration.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot commission and optimize automated manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Familiarity with industrial robotics motion control and/or machine vision systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB Universal Robots).
• Proficiency in vision system programming and integration (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
• Knowledge of SQL databases for data collection reporting and OEE tracking.
• Familiarity with MES/ERP systems and their integration with control systems.
