Key Responsibilities

• Design program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI/SCADA systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Develop and implement automation solutions to improve production efficiency quality and safety.
• Provide expert technical support for electrical control and instrumentation issues on the production floor.
• Manage and execute control system upgrade projects including hardware and software integration.
• Create and maintain comprehensive control system documentation electrical schematics and P&IDs.
• Participate in the commissioning and startup of new machinery and production lines.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for existing control systems and processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Rockwell/Allen-Bradley Siemens) for industrial automation.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA system design development and integration.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g. EtherNet/IP Profinet Modbus TCP/IP).
• Ability to read interpret and modify electrical schematics and P&IDs.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex control system issues in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial robotics (e.g. Fanuc KUKA ABB) programming and integration.
• Proficiency in advanced SCADA/MES systems (e.g. Ignition Wonderware) and database integration (SQL).
• Familiarity with industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence) for inspection and guidance.
• Understanding of OT cybersecurity principles and best practices.
