The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial accounting reporting and general ledger operations.
• Develop and manage the annual budget forecasts and long-range financial plans.
• Implement and maintain robust cost accounting systems including standard costing variance analysis and inventory valuation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP company policies and internal control procedures.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
• Analyze financial performance identify trends and provide insightful reports to management and operations.
• Manage cash flow working capital and fixed asset accounting.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation highly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting and financial management experience with significant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Deep expertise in cost accounting standard costing inventory valuation and variance analysis specific to manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
• Proven ability to prepare accurate financial statements develop comprehensive budgets and forecasts and provide strategic financial insights.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in specific manufacturing ERP modules (e.g. production costing inventory management).
• Demonstrated experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies and their financial impact.
• Expertise in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for enhanced financial reporting and analysis.
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
