The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including Billing A/R A/P GL Cost Accounting and Inventory Accounting.
• Manage the monthly quarterly and annual financial close processes and timely reporting.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements management reports and production profitability analyses.
• Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Manage cost accounting activities including standard costing variance analysis and inventory valuation.
• Support year-end audit activities and provide necessary documentation to external auditors.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• 5 years of progressive financial leadership experience with at least 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting inventory management budgeting forecasting and variance analysis specific to manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting with experience in process improvement and internal controls.
• Proven ability to partner with operations drive financial performance and lead a finance team.

Bonus Qualifications

• Deep experience with ERP system implementation or optimization in a manufacturing environment (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O).
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for advanced data visualization and reporting.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement complex financial models for forecasting and scenario planning.
