Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial accounting reporting and analysis for manufacturing operations.
• Manage cost accounting activities including standard costing variance analysis and inventory valuation.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes focusing on production costs and operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements maintaining robust internal controls.
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support operational decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience with significant time in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in cost accounting inventory valuation and financial reporting for manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated expertise with ERP systems and advanced Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a finance team and implement robust internal controls.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency with manufacturing-specific ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics).
• Experience with business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for advanced financial analytics.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and their financial implications.
• Prior experience with financial due diligence or integration for mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
