Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial reporting activities including monthly quarterly and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process working with department heads to develop accurate financial plans and projections.
• Implement and maintain robust cost accounting systems to track production costs analyze variances and support pricing decisions.
• Manage inventory valuation and control processes including cycle counts physical inventories and obsolescence reserves.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets ensure data integrity and mitigate financial risks.
• Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts providing insights and recommendations to senior management for operational improvements.
• Oversee cash flow management and forecasting to ensure optimal liquidity and working capital utilization.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification highly preferred.
• 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles with significant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Deep expertise in cost accounting inventory valuation and variance analysis specific to manufacturing operations.
• Proven ability to manage financial reporting budgeting forecasting and internal controls.
• Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in building and managing high-performing finance teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific manufacturing ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Epicor).
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
• Experience with international operations and multi-currency accounting.
• Involvement in M&A due diligence and integration activities.
