Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial reporting including monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes ensuring alignment with operational goals.
• Implement and maintain robust cost accounting systems including standard costing variance analysis and inventory valuation for production.
• Develop implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for operational efficiency cost reduction and profitability improvements.
• Manage cash flow working capital and treasury functions to optimize liquidity and financial performance.
• Coordinate and manage external audits ensuring accurate and timely completion of all audit requirements.
• Oversee fixed asset management including depreciation capital expenditure tracking and disposal processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• 7-10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience with significant time in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
• Expertise in cost accounting inventory valuation and standard costing specific to manufacturing operations.
• Proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced financial modeling in Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP financial reporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with advanced data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies to financial processes.
• Prior involvement in ERP system implementations or significant upgrades within a manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to multi-site or international manufacturing operations.
