Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial reporting ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
• Manage and optimize cost accounting systems including standard costing variance analysis and inventory valuation.
• Lead the annual budgeting forecasting and long-range planning processes.
• Develop implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Analyze financial performance identifying trends variances and providing actionable insights to management.
• Manage cash flow working capital and treasury functions.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification highly preferred.
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience with a significant portion in a manufacturing environment.
• Deep expertise in cost accounting inventory valuation and manufacturing variance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP financial reporting budgeting forecasting and internal controls.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing an accounting team.

Bonus Qualifications

• Deep experience with specific manufacturing ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Epicor) beyond standard user functions including implementation or optimization.
• Certification or practical experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization and cost reduction.
• Proficiency in advanced data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for enhanced financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience with multi-site or international manufacturing operations.
