Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial reporting including month-end close and financial statements.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing operations.
• Manage cost accounting activities including product costing variance analysis and inventory valuation.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate and manage external audits.
• Optimize cash flow management and working capital strategies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience with significant time in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in GAAP cost accounting inventory valuation and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proven ability to manage financial operations including budgeting forecasting and variance analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementations or significant upgrades (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics)
• Proficiency in business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for advanced reporting and data visualization
• Certification or experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization
• Prior experience with financial due diligence or post-merger integration
