- Develop write and debug CMM inspection programs using CAD models and engineering drawings.
- Interpret complex GD&T specifications and translate them into effective CMM measurement routines.

- Analyze measurement data identify non-conformances and generate detailed inspection reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CMM program errors measurement discrepancies and equipment issues.

- Maintain CMM software databases and ensure proper program version control.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g. PC-DMIS Calypso MCOSMOS).
- Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and 3D models.
- Hands-on experience operating troubleshooting and maintaining CMM equipment.
- Strong understanding of metrology principles measurement techniques and statistical process control (SPC).
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software for fixture design and model manipulation.
- Experience with other metrology equipment (e.g. vision systems laser scanners optical comparators).
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and software for data analysis.
- Ability to design and/or fabricate custom CMM fixtures.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python VBA) for automation or data processing.
