Key Responsibilities

Design develop and implement industrial automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
Program configure and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and SCADA systems.
Integrate and commission robotic systems vision systems and other advanced automation technologies.
Optimize existing automation systems to improve production efficiency quality and reliability.
Perform root cause analysis and provide technical support for automation-related issues on the production floor.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards industry regulations and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens Rockwell Allen-Bradley) for control system design and implementation.
Experience with industrial robotics programming integration and troubleshooting (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB).
Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g. EtherNet/IP Profinet Modbus TCP/IP).
Demonstrated ability in SCADA/HMI development and configuration (e.g. Wonderware Ignition Rockwell FTView).
Proven experience with industrial vision systems for inspection and guidance (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills for complex automation systems.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with industrial machine vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration.
Proficiency in industrial data acquisition historian and analytics platforms (e.g. Ignition AVEVA PI System).
Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity principles and practices.
