Key Responsibilities

Design develop and implement industrial automation solutions using PLCs HMIs and robotics.
Program configure and troubleshoot industrial control systems including SCADA and DCS.
Optimize manufacturing processes through automation to improve efficiency quality and throughput.
Conduct testing commissioning and validation of new automation equipment and integrated systems.
Provide expert technical support and training for automation systems to production and maintenance teams.
Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards quality regulations and industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and integrate new technologies.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Rockwell Siemens) SCADA and HMI development.
Experience with industrial robotics motion control systems and machine vision.
Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP Profinet Modbus OPC UA).
Proven ability to troubleshoot diagnose and resolve complex automation system issues.
Familiarity with programming languages like Python or C# for data acquisition and system integration.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
Familiarity with MES/MOM system integration and data exchange.
Exposure to industrial data historians and analytics platforms (e.g. OSIsoft PI Ignition).
Understanding of cybersecurity principles for Operational Technology (OT) environments.
Proficiency with automation simulation software (e.g. Process Simulate RoboDK).
