Key Responsibilities

Design develop and implement new automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
Program configure and troubleshoot industrial control systems including PLCs HMIs and SCADA.
Conduct commissioning testing and validation of new and modified automation equipment.
Optimize existing automation systems to improve production efficiency quality and safety.
Provide technical support and resolve complex issues related to automation hardware and software.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for automation systems and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and integrate automation solutions.
Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards industry regulations and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens TIA Portal Rockwell Studio 5000) and HMI/SCADA development.
Strong understanding of industrial control systems sensors actuators and industrial networking protocols.
Experience with robotics motion control systems and/or industrial vision systems.
Proven ability to troubleshoot diagnose and resolve complex automation issues in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Automation Engineering Mechatronics or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
Proficiency in industrial robot programming and integration (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB).
Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration.
Knowledge of industrial data historians (e.g. OSIsoft PI) and data analytics tools.
Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity best practices.
