The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Wyoming that are seeking Automation Engineers. Key Responsibilities

Design program and implement PLC/HMI control systems for manufacturing equipment.
Develop and integrate robotic solutions for assembly material handling and quality inspection.
Troubleshoot diagnose and resolve complex issues with automated machinery and control systems.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize machine performance and uptime.
Lead or support the commissioning and startup of new automated production lines.
Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation including schematics logic diagrams and operating procedures.
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency safety and quality through automation.

Recommended Qualifications

Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g. Siemens Rockwell/Allen-Bradley) and troubleshooting.
Experience with HMI/SCADA system design development and integration.
Demonstrated ability to integrate and program industrial robots (e.g. FANUC ABB KUKA).
Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g. EtherNet/IP Profinet Modbus TCP/IP).
Knowledge of sensor actuator and motion control technologies for manufacturing applications.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g. Cognex Keyence).
Proficiency with industrial robot programming and integration (e.g. FANUC KUKA ABB Universal Robots).
Familiarity with MES/MOM systems and data integration from shop floor to enterprise level.
Knowledge of industrial network architectures and OT cybersecurity principles.
