About the role

Youll be one of the first points of contact for businesses needing IT support across Yorkshire. Your day will involve a mix of troubleshooting over the phone remote access support and on-site face to face visits. The role is wide-ranging resolving support tickets bench repairs PC Builds assisting with system installs ensuring clients can work without interruption where possible. No two days look the same and youll have the chance to get stuck into real technical work rather than repetitive scripts.

Working hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 09:00 17:30

  • Friday: 09:00 16:30

Key duties

  • Provide IT support via phone remote tools and on-site visits.

  • Diagnose and resolve hardware software and network issues.

  • Support with break-fix tasks system setups and new equipment installations.

  • Keep clear records of support tickets and solutions.

  • Communicate in a calm practical and non-technical way when supporting end-users.

  • Escalate more complex issues when needed.

Key requirements

  • Experience in a first-line or helpdesk support environment.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify technical information.

  • Confident troubleshooting Windows environments Office 365 and basic networking.

  • A logical methodical approach to problem-solving.

  • A customer-focused mindset and a willingness to help not just fix.
