Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Motor Rewinder/Mechanic to perform inspection repair and maintenance on engines motors generators and other mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills proficiency with precision tools and the ability to perform motor rewinding. This role requires attention to detail adherence to safety standards and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven experience breaking down and repairing mechanical equipment including engines motors and generators or completion of mechanic courses or a relevant degree program
- Proficiency with mechanical and precision tools
- Strong mechanical skills and understanding of mechanical systems
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices related to mechanical repairs
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with motor armatures and rewinding
- Prior experience in industrial or shipyard environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
