Job Summary

Job Title:RN Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night 7:00 PM 7:30 AM (312-hour shifts rotating unpaid lunch)
Hours: 36 hours/week
Schedule: Every other weekend & rotating holidays
Pay Rate: $50 $62/hour

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide exceptional patient care in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment care planning medication administration mentoring staff and ensuring professional nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and maintain accurate records.
Develop and implement individualized care plans; collaborate with the care team.
Serve as charge nurse when needed supporting staff orientation education and guidance.
Monitor quality indicators evaluate outcomes and contribute to improvement initiatives.
Adhere to hospital safety infection control and regulatory standards.
Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing education and certifications.
Provide excellent care and service to patients families and colleagues.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
Current RN license in Massachusetts.
Required certifications: BLS ACLS NRP.
Completion of hospital-specific pharmacology exam.
Fetal Monitor Course (Intermediate/Advanced) within 2 years.
Recent obstetrics experience (within 2 years).
CPI certification preferred.
