JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Nights Driver Manager

Shift:Extended Coverage6 pm - 6 am.

Department: Operations

Location: Green Bay WI

Schedule:2-2-3 work schedule (work two days on two days off and then three days on). 36 Hours One Week Alternating with 48 Hours the Next Week with every other Friday Saturday Sunday Off. 6 pm - 6 am.

Reports to: Terminal Manager

Principle Responsibilities:

Management and oversight of all driver-related job functions including but not limited to operations safety compliance vacation/home-time employee relations customer service claims and breakdown.
Maintain effective communication with load planners and customer service representatives to ensure on-time delivery and load accuracy.
Manage coordination with maintenance to ensure completion of preventative maintenance and repairs to trucks within the fleet.
Assist as needed with respect to HR-led initiatives including but not limited to submitting documents to payroll issuance of disciplinary action and general communication between driver and management.
Administer daily and weekly business-related reporting.
Additional duties may be assigned depending on the needs of the business.

Experience: Supervisory experience preferred preferably in the trucking industry.

Qualifications:

General experience in the trucking industry.
Proficient in general computer software.
Experience working in TMW and/or Qualcomm is beneficial.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
Strong understanding of FMSCA Hours of Service and Compliance.
Strong time management skills and able to prioritize effectively
A proven leader and team player dependable consistent and reliable.

Education: Bachelors Degree preferred.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

Base salary range of $50000 to $55000; and
This position is eligible to participate in the Companys quarterly bonus plan the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
