Provide Phlebotomy Technician aide services for students under the Phlebotomy Technician teachers direction within the district. Assist the Phlebotomy Technician Instructor by maintaining a positive safe learning environment for all students enrolled in our Adult EducationOTC Phlebotomy Technician program. Help individual students achieve their greatest potential learn to become independent and ensure the safety of all students during the collection of blood specimens by established venipuncture and capillary techniques.
STARTING DATE: Classes begin 1/12/2026
SALARY: Appropriate placement on the Adult Education Employees Salary Schedule based on experience and education
REPORTS TO: Director of Nursing Education or designee
BENEFITS: Sick leave; professional development opportunities
WORKWEEK/YEAR: Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or possession of a General Education Development (GED) certicate. Phlebotomy National certication from an accredited testing organization. Ability to operate various oce machines. A motivated self-starter with strong time-management abilities. Able to work quickly and independently handling multiple projects at one time and meeting deadlines. Demonstrated ability to problem-solve. Professional tact diplomacy and presentation with sta students and stakeholders. Record of excellent attendance. Ability to establish and maintain positive and eective working relationships with administrations sta students associates vendors and community members.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Reside or work in Medina County. Previous experience in education. Minimum ve (5) years of hands-on experience as a Phlebotomy Technician. Associates degree or higher. Experience working within a budget.
