Job Description:
Our client is looking to expand their Workers Compensation Department and is seeking to add a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to their operations. These positions would be responsible for handling Workers Compensation Indemnity claims from inception to close. Qualified candidates must possess a strong knowledge of Workers Compensation laws and statutes. This is a fully remote position and considered Temporary through the end of the year with the potential of extending into the New Year.
- Handle moderate to complex Workers Compensation claims including litigation with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager.
- Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys.
- Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service and adherence to department best practices.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience handling Lost-time Workers Compensation claims.
- Need to be well-versed in Workers Compensation Law.
- License in Home State or Designated Home State
- Experience in one of the following Jurisdictions: AL AR FL GA IA IL IN KS KY MI MN MO MS NC NE OK SC SD TN WI
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- High School Diploma required; Bachelors Degree preferred but not required.
Salary/Benefits:
- $30.00 - $32.00 per hour (based on experience)
