Job Summary
Job Title: RN Medical Surgical/Stroke Care
Location:Multiple Locations
Type:Contract
Pay Rate:$40$60/hour
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will have strong Med/Surg Stroke and Stepdown experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Requirements:
Two or more years of Med/Surg practice
Required: Stepdown & Stroke unit experience
Must be a prior travel RN
Experience with EPIC EMR
Active state RN license
BLS required; ACLS beneficial
Strong patient-focused clinical competencies
Responsibilities:
Manage care of Med/Surg and Stroke Stepdown patient populations
Perform neuro checks and observe for status changes
Administer medications safely
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary professionals
Engage in stroke-response procedures
Utilize EPIC for all charting
