Senior Planning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kuwait. As a key member of our engineering department you will play a crucial role in developing and managing project schedules ensuring timely and efficient completion of our engineering initiatives.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using advanced planning tools such as Primavera (P6) and MS Project.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope work breakdown structures and key milestones.
• Analyze project timelines identify potential bottlenecks and propose solutions to optimize project execution.
• Monitor and report on project progress highlighting risks issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
• Establish and continuously improve planning processes procedures and systems.
• Integrate schedule management with budget and risk management activities.
• Forecast resource requirements and assist in resource allocation to prevent bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain standardized schedule templates and activity norms.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management and clients.
• Integrate the Project Construction Schedule (e.g. Primavera P6 or MS Project) with the 3D BIM Model using software platforms such as Autodesk Navisworks or Synchro Pro to support 4D planning and construction simulation.
• Generate 4D simulation outputs and reports for inclusion in project presentations client updates and coordination documentation.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Engineering preferably in civil engineering
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering project planning
• Expert-level proficiency in Primavera (P6) and MS Project
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex engineering projects and schedules
• In-depth understanding of engineering processes methodologies and best practices
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach
• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and clients
• Logical mindset and methodical approach to planning and problem-solving
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Collaborative team player with strong leadership potential
• Willingness to adapt to the local work environment in Kuwait (knowledge of Arabic is a plus but not required)
