About the Role
We are expanding our industrial construction activities in Eastern Europe and are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to strengthen our presence in the Romanian market.
In this role you will act as the link between our German headquarters and potential Romanian partners and clients especially German companies active in Romanias industrial and construction sectors.
This is a unique opportunity for a self-driven professional who enjoys building relationships identifying business opportunities and shaping long-term partnerships.
Tasks
Your Responsibilities
- Actively acquire new clients and business partners primarily German companies operating in Romania
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the industrial construction sector
- Identify and approach key decision-makers (e.g. project managers procurement officers site managers)
- Organize and attend client meetings together with our German sales and project teams
- Present our services and capabilities to potential customers
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate closely with the international sales team and management in Germany
Requirements
Your Profile
- Proven experience in sales business development or client acquisition ideally in construction engineering or a related industry
- Either a senior background with established networks or a younger ambitious profile with strong motivation to grow into the role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills confident and professional appearance
- Fluent in English and Romanian (German or Hungarian a plus)
- Structured result-oriented and proactive working style
- Willingness to travel within Romania as needed
- Based in a major Romanian city (Bucharest Cluj Timișoara Oradea Brașov preferred)
